Meet Willow! This tiny and tenacious little (7 pounds!) lady is full of loves and ready for a family of her very own to give it to. Willow can be a little shy at first and often comes off as aloof with new people, but will soon become stuck to your side. She loves to cuddle and will sit in your lap all day if you let her. She’d make a great travel buddy or WFH co-worker, and will sit in your lap without demanding attention. She has perfected the art of the “dog gaze,” staring at you with soft blinks until she dozes off to sleep.
Willow is not a hyper dog, but loves to go for walks. Currently she does 3 ten minute walks per day and is very satisfied and mellow with that level of activity. Willow has great leash manners. She orients toward your left side in a lazy heel, and will keep up pace. She is very brave, and enjoys neighborhood walks and sitting in the grass. She doesn’t flinch at loud or sudden noises, and immediately wants to investigate to see what’s going on.
Willow is a very smart and well-behaved two year-old pup who is house-trained and has never been destructive in her foster’s home. She does need slow intro’s to new people and has her limits so she would do best in a home without children. She would be happy to have a dog sibling or be your one-and-only. (LH)
