Meet Winston, a 72 pound, 10 month-old fawn-colored pittie. This gorgeous boy is looking for a new home. Could it be yours?
“Winston is extremely affectionate with us and he is a lover and a snuggler. He wants to be around people all the time. He is energetic but will settle down once he gets settled in. He is not rambunctious, but just very excited when you get home or he first sees you. He has been socialized with a large group of dogs since he was a puppy so he gets along well with his socialized group but can be leash reactive with other dogs. We do have issues at home as Winston needs to be the alpha (we assume) and neither he or his brother will back down so there has been a lot of fighting between them to the point that they are separated 24 hours a day. I think it would be best for him to be in a house with no other dogs or cats. He has a lot of love to give and will be an amazing companion for some lucky family. Because of his age (he’s still a big puppy!), Winston would be best-suited in a home with children over 12 years old. Apartments would not be a good fit for Winston, he needs a yard and a somewhat active owner. He sits, and is good on the leash. Winston sleeps through the night on his dog bed in our room.
Winston, like all puppies, needs daily exercise, both physical and mental. Right now he goes out Monday , Wednesday and Friday for a few hours each day with his large dog group and we play with them on the weekend. We are seeking active people with bully breed experience who will continue his training.”
