Yuru is a very sweet and playful girl who we believe is a Doberman mix. She’s already about 25 pounds at about 3-4 months and we believe she will get to about 65 pounds, but no guarantees. Yuru loves people once she has a few minutes to get to know them and will quickly roll over for belly rubs. She also loves to follow her foster family around and keep them company while they are working by laying next to them. She also seems to be dog friendly in that she either wants to play with them or just ignores them. She would also be a great family dog if willing to work through her puppy habits.
Like any young pup, Yuru needs to work on her manners a little bit and will still try to chew on things or jump. That said, she is very smart and has already gotten good at sitting by the door when she needs to go out and somewhat understands tricks such as sit. She will need to go out on walks to get more comfortable with the outside world and get better at not walking in a zig-zag, that said, she is a polite girl who is great at greeting other dogs and people.
Please be home every 3 hours during this important developmental period to assure Yuru gets all she needs and will be a well-adjusted adult. If you cannot provide the proper amount of exercise, cannot be home more often than not, and are not prepared for a larger adult dog, please apply for one of our many other pups.
