Pico is a 7 year old male chihuahua who lost his family due to divorce. He grew up with a little girl and lives with a little girl in his foster home. In fact, he sleeps in her bed every night so he is fond of gentle children. He is also good with dogs and has lived with other small dogs. He can be shy at first but once he gets to know you, he is all love. Pico has been around cats so a cat that wouldn’t hurt him would be fine. Pico is about 7 lbs and very affectionate. Once he is comfortable with you, he loves to be picked up and to sit in your lap and give you kisses if you let him.
He is pretty verbal and makes squeaky noises to tell you what he is thinking or when he gets excited like when his person first comes home. Pico does a funny little spinning dance just before he lets you pick him up. Stairs are a challenge for Pico as are dog doors though he has learned to go up some stairs in his foster home, he would prefer to be carried. He is paper trained and probably house trained too if he can get outside. Pico doesn’t like long car rides and will whine in a car. He likes to go for walks in the neighborhood and loves to snuggle up on the couch while you watch T.V. All he wants is a forever home where he can be your little baby for the rest of his life.
