All qualified dogs will have no adoption fees. * Application and home visit & required before taking home a dog.

We hold adoption events every Sunday. There are usually 10-20 dogs at each event. If there’s a particular dog you would like to meet, please email us at adopt@rocketdogrescue.org to confirm that dog will be there, as not every dog on the website shows up at every adoption event.
What is a Mobile Adoption?
Rocket Dog Rescue’s mobile adoptions are your chance to come meet Rocket Dogs currently for adoption. We’re out and about in San Francisco and now Petaluma to help educate people about dog rescue and help match great people with wonderful companion animals. It’s your chance to interact with that special dog you spotted on our adoptions page, and it’s also an excellent opportunity to ask about volunteering or how to become a Rocket Dog foster parent. We also accept donations at our mobile adoptions. And of course, if you just need a little love—a wet kiss from a special dog—this is the right place to be. So come and meet us and get involved!
