Princess Pea appears to be a miniature long-haired dachshund. She may
be pure but we have no way to know as she was found as a
stray. She loves kids, gets along with other small dogs and
is ambivalent to cats. She is currently being fostered with
large dogs, small dogs and cats and has made it clear that
she would prefer not to live with large dogs.
She would also
be fine as an only dog/pet. She is not recommended for small
children because of her small size. Adult home would be best. She is very sweet and
loving with people she knows but can be fearful of
strangers, especially adult men. But with time and patience
she will warm up and become friendly. She walks well on a
leash and enjoys a daily walk. She does seem to be mostly
potty trained but has occasional accidents. Obedience
training is recommended for this breed. She is spayed,
vaccinated and chipped and ready for her forever
home.
