We believe Honey is a McNab border collie, about 40 pounds? we know very little about her, except that she was found giving birth in a field, and the person who rescued them and cared for them for two weeks wasn’t able to find an owner, and the person contacted RDR because their chances would not have been good at a shelter. Even though Honey likely went through a lot in her life before coming to RDR, and at first she was quite skittish, she has warmed up and gets wiggly kissy when she’s happy to see you; she’s been an amazing mother and is still very protective of her pups with strangers. We know nothing about the father(s) of the litter; there are two boy pups who are smaller than the rest; three of the pups are long haired and look like classic border collie (two are black and white, one merle), all boys. the other five are short haired (two females white with black spots), one male white with black spots, and the two smaller boys who are white with black/grey markings.
Right now they are very playful and very puppy, they all get along well with each other and enjoy playing and snuggling/sleeping equally with each other; they’ve been eating solid foods but momma still nurses them each day; they’re great kissers (with me/humans), curious, and like to nibble on you, as puppies do; to me they seem very well behaved and at ease – they will have a lot of energy and need active homes! Training is a must for puppies and is mandatory as part of the adoption!

They are 9 weeks old now and ready to go into homes in 2 weeks!
* Please note: We DO NOT KNOW who the dad is and what breed he may be – We have heard they look PITBULL, AUSSIE, BORDER COLLIE. We also don’t know how big they will be when full grown. They will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped as part of the adoption.
