Buddha is a sweet, mellow, 10 year-old Jack Russell mix who weighs about 15 lbs. She has a tan coat and white muzzle and toes.
Buddha was relinquished by a loving family that could not afford to keep her any more. Buddha would love nothing more than to have a quiet home she can call her own.
Buddha has separation anxiety and would be best with someone who is home most of the time. She has been known to chew when left alone for more than a few hours, but with a human or dog companion at home, she hasn’t yet chewed anything!
During the day, Buddha prefers to sleep, lie in the sun, and get cuddles and belly rubs from her humans. The most exciting part of the day is when the leash come out and it’s time for a W-A-L-K! Then she will come running to the front door and anxiously await as she gets her harness on. If squirrels are involved, she’ll be on high alert!
Buddha is completely potty-trained and has had no accidents in the two months with her foster family.
Buddha does well with other dogs, but as an older lady, she is not much interested in playing, but will sit quietly and mostly ignore other dogs. She will not bark at the mailman or the dogs next door, but will bark at any new person coming into the house until she gets to know them.
