Meet Jesse! Jesse is a 7 month-old German Shepherd (mix?) who was rescued from a bad backyard situation. He is now safe and looking for his forever home. Could that be yours?
Jesse is a 50-pound male, who loves to play, and is dog and kid friendly. (We have not cat-tested him.)
These are the notes from Jesse’s foster:
“He is a cuddle bug, and is a little docile in his interactions with people but not a scary cat at all and actually is becoming quite adventurous, he does like to be were ever you are.
Just in the past few days he has been showing more and more confidence. He loves to run and play with he other dogs and chew on bones. He is attached to his sister but doesn’t seem to be a follower he does stuff first and checks to see if she’s doing it after him. super cute.
the potty training is going well He seems to be going out side 100% of the time for poop and about 90% for pee.
Just a lovely calm puppy. I can see he could have sep anxiety if someone wasn’t careful. He howls just one or two times when I leave him to go to sleep in my bedroom at night. But he stops and goes to bed almost immediately.
He is learning his basic commands quickly and has sit and watch 100%
He is being fostered in a multi dog household, and is in daycare daily with old, young, big, small, active and non active dogs. He does very well with all the dogs, he does tend to bark a bit during play. I have seen no reactionary problems or resource guarding of objects.”
Puppies require LOTS of exercise and LOTS of mental stimulation. They require LOTS of time to be the best dogs the can be. Please keep this in mind when applying for Jesse. *Breed experience a plus.*
(Pictures shown are with the other GSD puppy that was rescued. Jesse has the tan and black face. They will NOT be adopted together.)
