Shelter life is very difficult and even traumatic for all dogs, but those of a certain age even more so. This boy was picked up deep in the country in Lake County in Alexander Valley. This boy seemed so earnest sitting in a chain link kennel, we had to get him out of there and into foster.
It was without a doubt a great call. His new name is Barlow, the all American mixed-breed possesses all of the best attributes of whatever it is he is made of. Shelter paperwork places him at six years, and 55 pounds. Barlow is such a gentleman he has not barked once while in foster care, doesn’t seem to mind being in a crate. now and again. He is trusting, he is confident but not cocky. An all-around gem, and an easy going guy. A true friend and VERY low maintenance.
Think you’re a good fit for Barlow? Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you. (JE)
