Ruby

Hi there, my name is Ruby and I am about two years old and weigh about 40 lbs. I’ve been with my current household for about 8 months. I would be a perfect dog here except for the fact that I’m very competitive with the existing dog who lives here. 

 

I am a happy and very active girl who likes to be the boss of my home. I like other dogs OUTSIDE of my home and love to play, run and play, and run again. I am VERY active and would do best in a home where a lot of activity is part of your daily routine. As you can see from my photos, I like to run around and be outside and play with other dogs. I even like playing with my cat friend, but I also like my own castle. I am the Queen and want your attention all to myself when inside the home. 

 

My forever home would preferably have no other dogs so that I could get all the attention and be the most important. I do get along with cats. I get along with dogs outside of the home and can play for hours. I do get distracted with balls and can catch but I don’t retrieve very well. I am very cautious with new people, but warm up fast. I love car rides with the window open.

 

 I am smart and want to take control so I need a consistent person to tell me what is allowed and to set boundaries.  On-going agility or trick-learning would be great for my need for mental stimulation. It may seem like I don’t listen but I really do! And I will be the best dog ever!!!

 

 I am UTD on shots and I am already spayed.
