Bowser is a super-fun and loving two year-old pup! We think he’s a Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix and we know he’s very social and always excited to meet new people. He’s very playful and loves to play fetch or tug with his toys. Bowser is an energetic young dog who would make a great hiking, running, or any sort of outdoor adventure companion. He walks well on leash and also likes to carry a ball or toy with him on walks. He’s an active pup who will need 2-3 hours of exercise everyday.
His foster says, “He’s eager to please and is attention, toy, and treat-motivated. He’s house-broken, smart, energetic, loyal, and super-friendly. He loves ALL people and dogs. He walks great on leash, knows “sit” and “down”.”
Bowser is also great with other dogs and very playful. (He does great with his fosters’ resident 11-pounder.) He would love another playful dog in his future home, or a family who will take him to the park to play with other dogs. Bowser could benefit from some basic training. He still has lots of puppy energy and can get a bit mouthy when excited. He’s super smart and eager to please so we know he will do great with some structure and training, but for right now, due to his high-energy, he would do best in a home without young kids. (LH)
