Who doesn’t love a good Casserole? Our Casserole (aka Cass) is as delicious as they come. Cass is a friendly little love who enjoys cuddling and belly rubs from anyone who will give them to her. She is ready for and open to adventures. She loves being near her people and would love to tag along wherever they go.
Seven-year-old Cass is thriving in her foster home. She’s leash trained and house trained. She initially came to us a few pounds overweight. Her foster is ensuring that she’s eating healthy, smaller portions and exercising multiple times per day. We anticipate Cass getting down to a healthier weight soon and we’ll want to make sure her adopter is committed to supporting her as well. She currently weighs 26 pounds.
Cass loves all people and kids. She especially enjoys her daily walks and making new friends wherever she goes. Cass is good with other dogs but can be a little cautious of new dogs that she meets. She likes to be the one to decide the space between her and the other dog and when possible prefers to be the one to approach. She needs a little space and time to be sure and be playful.
The ideal adopters for Cass would be able to spend a good deal of time with her throughout the day. She loves her people and wants nothing more than to be by their side. Around the house she is a total shadow dog and follows her foster mom from room to room. She doesn’t like being left alone so Cass’s fosters are working with her to get her more comfortable being left alone for periods of time.
