Meet Comet! Comet is a very friendly 2-year-old Golden Retriever. He loves all people and and tends to think he’s a lap dog. He is a big fan of cuddles and playing with his toys.
Comet also loves other dogs and always wants to play. The highlight of his day is going to the park to play with his dog friends everyday. He is currently the only dog in his foster home and is totally happy with that, but he would also love a larger dog sibling to play with.
Comet still has a ton of puppy energy. He will need at least 1.5-2 hrs of exercise every day. He is a very big boy (75lbs) and sometimes when he gets excited he will jump on people or play-bite his leash. Because he doesn’t realize his size, Comet is looking for a home without small children who he might knock over. Comet is house and crate-trained, does fine being left home alone ((for a short time) free roaming or in his crate, and walks pretty well on leash.
Comet is looking for an engaged household where he is fully part of the family’s day-to-day comings and goings. Golden Retrievers are not “independent” dogs and would prefer to spend their day in your company.
