Meet Frankie! This handsome young Malinois mix checks in at 3 years old and just over 50lbs.

Looking for a perfect companion for walks, jogs, or hikes? Frankie would love to ride shotgun on any adventure and is a volunteer favorite on leash. He is non-reactive to traffic, other dogs, or even the occasional neighborhood cat! Here are some notes from his adventures:

“He offers a friendly hello to every passerby while maintaining a calm, mellow demeanor.”

“Frankie is good on a leash and a pleasure to walk. Friendly to a few barking mop-like yard dogs.”

“A perfect gentleman, very sweet.”

 Frankie enjoys hanging out with his dog friends, either running and wrestling or just quietly providing companionship. With proper introductions Frankie has done well with new dogs, but as a generally more low-key guy, high energy dogs or large puppies may not be his cup of tea.

Chasing balls around the yard (still working on “drop it” but he does bring the ball back!) and trying to catch water from the air (see his video below) are some of his favorite activities, but Frankie is also an expert chore/work supervisor and calmly hangs out with Rocket Dog volunteers as they go through daily duties.
