Gigi

Meet our sweet girl Gigi, she loves pretty much everyone she meets! She’s a pit bull mix and about one year-old. Gigi’s on the smaller side for a pit bull but she’s strong and also has plenty of energy to spare. She loves humans, and rubs, and humans! If you are looking for a sweet companion that loves hikes and snuggles she might just be your girl.

Gigi does well in the car and loves hiking in the woods.She is goofy, super sweet and affectionate, a bit rambunctious, and adorable all around! She’s looking for a forever home where she can give lots of kisses to her people, and also go on adventures with them. Gigi would love to live with someone active that can show her the world, and provide her with the mental and physical stimulation that she needs. 

As the youngster she is, Gigi will need to work on some obedience and leash manners, especially when she sees other dogs. She’d love a family that will put in some training time to help her grow up as the amazing dog she is. Gigi will do well in a home with older dog-savvy kids, as she may still be too energetic for the younger ones.

Gigi is super smart and food motivated and has learned basic obedience including walking well on leash. She is a bit reactive to other dogs on leash but has improved greatly. She is affectionate and cuddly and will take long naps on the couch if I’m watching tv. She gets about 2-3 miles of walking/sniffing in a day and all of her food on walks, during training, or in enrichment activities and that does a pretty good job of using up her energy. She is a giant goofball and will play with herself by tossing her stuffed animals and then chasing them.
