Meet Hobbs! This sweet boy was surrendered to the San Jose Shelter by his owner with severely infected ears and was rescued
a day before euthanasia. His behavioral assessment was, “He is as sweet as he can be.”
His foster offers a glowing report: “He initially flinched with human touch, seemingly from fear of humans. Hobbs now greats us at the front door with a wagging tail. Hobbs arrived housebroken and is excellent with our dogs. He sleeps through the night
and is crate-trained. He has not been cat-tested, but at the vet’s he totally ignores the cats in the waiting
room while attempting to make friends with the dogs. He is wonderful in the car – just curls up on the
seat and takes a nap. He has wobbly legs which inhibit his abilities for long walks. If you’re looking for a
sweet dog who wants to give and receive love, this is the little one for you. We also believe that Hobbs is
somewhat hearing impaired.”
At 8 years old and 24 pounds this little Lhasa Apso with silky fur would do well in a quiet household and older children.
