Monroe is a sweet young pup who is ready for her forever home. She is around 1 year old and 45 lbs.
Monroe can be shy at first but don’t let that fool you. She loves cuddling with her humans and is open and curious when meeting new people. In her foster home she plays well with her dog sibling and is gentle and submissive around new dogs. She does get shy at the dog park, the energetic play of bigger dogs seems to scare her. She will need time to warm up to playing with larger, more rowdy dogs.
In her foster home, Monroe wakes up when her humans wake up. She does well quietly snoozing or playing while her humans work, as long as she gets 30-60 minutes of exercise in the morning and at night. She is crate trained and is making great progress with her house and leash training. Monroe will benefit from a calm household which can give her lots of socialization. She would be good for someone who works from home or someone who works outside of the home.
