Meet your newest best friend, Olive! Beautiful Olive is a happy and energetic shepherd mix who is roughly 2 years old and looking for a forever family she can call her own. Her foster family describes her as a wiggly and playful “bomb-proof gal” who adores snuggling with her humans and being the center of attention. She is also a playful pup who loves her toys and is curious and friendly when she meets other dogs on the street.
Olive is about 50 pounds, strong and almost fully housebroken. She is super smart and has shown great progress in learning how to be more calm when meeting new people. She knows how to sit and shake, has zero anxiety with being left alone in her crate, and she walks on leash well with a gentle leader.
An ideal family for Olive is one that is active and willing to put in the time to train her on the basics and give her lots of opportunities to exercise, as well as lots of playtime. She would adore hikes and walks and runs with you or trips to the beach and just about any kind of adventure. She is good with cats and she loves to cuddle and play with her dog foster siblings.
