Pippin is a smart, loving dog who loves to run and play. She is allegedly 20 months old, but appears to be younger and still has some puppy-like antics. She is funny and will try to steal socks to play tug of war with her doggie sibling, but other than that is well-behaved in the house and quickly learned not to jump on furniture, counter surf, etc. She’s smart and eager to please which makes her very easy to train.
Pippin is very affectionate and enjoys meeting new people, though she’s more interested in their dogs than humans. When she meets another dog there’s the obligatory butt sniffing and then it’s off to chasing and playing. She is active and is currently thriving with a 1-2 mile hike during the day plus a trip to the dog park. The rest of the time she plays with her doggie sibling and also is happy to snooze in her foster mom’s home office. She’s attached to her foster mom and loves cuddling, sleeping in a dog bed in her foster mom’s room, and will follow her around the house. While she loves being with her human she has not been destructive when she leaves.
Do you have a high energy dog who never seems to get tired? Pippin is your answer! She can entertain your pup and tire herself out at the same time. She would be happiest in a home with another fun dog to play with. She also enjoys chew bones and toys to keep her occupied. She’s house-trained and uses a doggie door to go outside.
While she has not lived with a cat she does not seem to have a high prey drive, so a feline sibling could be possible. She’s a loving, fun dog who is beautiful and also has a burly stature and deep bark. Pippin is a fantastic dog and will only become better with age. (LG)
