Meet five-year-old, Simone, a sweet and chill companion who loves being around people. She’s the type to stick close to her person, following them from room to room. She enjoys going on long walks, about 3-mile walks daily, and then she’s mostly content napping throughout the day.
Simone is generally curious and outgoing when meeting new people. She’s still learning commands but waits patiently for her food. She’s improving at walking alongside but enjoys lots of stops and sniffing sessions initially. She hasn’t been exposed to cats, but she’s interacted with children well.
When left alone for short periods, Simone copes well, and we haven’t noticed signs of separation anxiety. She also loves spending time in the front yard or driveway.
Simone is one of our dogs that came from a West Bank organization, recently, so while she is presenting as an easy-going dog, she will need a patient household who understands that she’s been through a lot lately. Overall, Simone is a loving and affectionate companion with a few quirks that make her all the more endearing. (BH)
