Meet the Mendo(cino) Puppies!
**Update: Cedrick is still available! Cedrick is the “pick of the litter”, meaning he’s super-smart and trains easily. (He’s wearing the red collar.)
Updates: The boys are BALL DOGS! They are all fetching it and loving it! Cedrick keeps his ball with him most of the time.
Shelly is super treat-motivated and cuddly
Kelly is the most athletic; she won “first place” on the foster’s agility course. (Update: Kelly is adopted)
Two girls: Kelly and Shelly
Three boys: Cedrick, Chadwick, and Roderick
They were being given away by some “tweaky bumbagz” late at night in a Lake County parking lot and luckily, a woman and her granddaughter did the right thing by taking them all home and finding a rescue organization for them. Enter one of our awesome fosters!
The momma was described as a middle-to-small dog, so we don’t believe they will be big. Other heritage is unknown (“here in Mendocino County they’re referred to as ‘Ranch dogs'”, says our foster). All are wonderful and have great futures ahead of them. They’ve been vetted and vaccinated and fixed and are ready for your loving home! They are now 13 weeks old.
Please be mindful that these are puppies and if you can’t be home during the crucial bonding time every two-three hours to train and love them, an older dog would be better suited for you. Puppies require lots of physical and mental exercise and training to be happy (and to make you happy, too!)
