Willow is a 2 year old short-haired Chihuahua and though she’s a tiny dog (9 lbs) she has a huge heart, and will bravely investigate sudden noises and new things. She loves going on walks, playing fetch, chasing birds in the yard, and of course, napping on your lap.
Can’t find her? Check your bed. She loves to nest in blankets, and while she is fully crate trained, she’d much rather curl up under your chin.
She is fully potty trained and loves learning tricks! She’s nervous around new people, but bonds quickly to her family. Once she knows that you’re safe, she becomes super loving, playful, and curious. She’ll do best with people who can be patient and understanding to her sensitivities, so a home without children is ideal.
Though a yard is not necessary, if you do have one it must be extremely secure, because Willow is an escape artist and will wiggle out of small spaces between the fence and the ground. She loves going on walks, so at least one substantial walk per day plus one or two more would make her happiest. Willow tolerates respectful dogs, but will be best-suited being Queen of the Castle. (She has not been cat-test, though would probably appreciate a cat-free home.)
