I adopted Crocket, now Oliver, and he has turned out to be the most amazing dog. He gets along beautifully with our other dogs (also rescues), Ellie Mae (a bull-headed, very alpha American Bulldog) and Murphy (a whiney, super sensitive hound-mix). Over several months and with the assistance of a local trainer, Oliver is very well behaved pooch (no more jumping/giving me bruises) and does an excellent job watching over his goats. When I got Oliver, he was only 70 lbs. of skin and bones. He’s now 100 lbs. of solid muscle and happy, happy happy. And so are we! Gosh, Oliver is smart and funny and sensitive and wonderful. Anyway, I can’t thank Rocket Dog enough for understanding the needs of this highly intelligent, big and energetic boy. He now has a very important job that he does so very well. FYI – all three of our dogs go on daily hikes together on our 12 acre property as well as have daily play time together. Oh, I also walk Oliver with our goats – and the goats tag along off leash! Thanks so much for saving this wonderful dog!
Best wishes always,
Nancy & Matt
