Brooklyn is a 9 week-old, 5 lb bundle of joy! We have no idea what breed(s) he might be but when he yawns he sounds like a baby bird!
Brooklyn and his sister were found in a dumpster at 1 week old. A wonderful foster took them in for 8 weeks and saved their lives. Brooklyn just made his way up to the Bay Area from Fresno and is living with another amazing foster until he finds his forever home.
Brooklyn looks like he won’t be a very big dog. We’d probably guess around 20 lbs. He is very sweet and loving. He loves people and other dogs. He is also living with a cat, which he wants to play with, so he is becoming accustomed to life with felines.
Brooklyn is pretty mellow and is happy to just be held or cuddle up next to someone warm. He is making progress with potty training. So far he is not taking to crate training but the fosters are still working on it. He is playful and loves toys, big and small. He doesn’t seem to care if the toys are twice as big as him. They’re all fun!
Please me mindful that puppies need lots of attention, exercise, and training to be the best dogs they can be. If you can’t be home every 2-3 hours during this crucial bonding/training time, please adopt an older dog.
