Dori is a very sweet dachshund mix with lovely floppy ears and a great nose for sniffing out treats from toys. She loves her people and her chew toys. She loves to play like a puppy and snuggles on the couch like a champ. She still has a few puppy-habits that need to be trained away, but she’s quickly adapting to a stable routine in her foster home and learning commands like sit and stay. At just 14 pounds, this cutie gets very excited for playtime and seems to think she’s a whole lot bigger than she actually is, she will definitely need to learn some manners so that she’s a bit more gentle with her new family.
Dori is doing great with her foster brother, though she can get a bit excited during playtime, and would likely be fine in a home with other dogs. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her foster brother and her humans. She’s still learning that food comes everyday and she doesn’t need to guard this precious commodity. She will likely do best in a home with adults or older children while she works on her manners.
