Freddy is a 1-year-old Cattle dog mix who is best described as docile, quiet, and considerate. He is a nice medium size, weighing in at about 35 pounds.
In his foster home, Freddy has shown to have a medium energy level and has done well with 3 short walks a day*. Freddy is very affectionate and loves cuddling and receiving love from his people, including children. Freddy is somewhat shy and reserved when meeting new people but comes around quickly.
*Freddy is likely to gain some more energy once he has time to become more confident in his forever home. He would likely do best in a quiet home that can provide him with this opportunity, and may thrive in a home with another dog to help teach him “how to dog.” In his foster home, Freddy has demonstrated that he is house-trained, crate-trained, good on a leash, and friendly with other dogs. This sweet boy would make a perfect addition to a family that can help him blossom and grow into himself. If you’re interested in learning more about him, please fill out an adoption application! *Please have experience with herding breeds (or do your research) as they tend to be extremely energetic and need lots of outlets. As stated above, Freddy is calm now, but this will, most likely, change as he becomes more comfortable.
