My name is Harper and I was saved by a kind neighbor who noticed that my brother and I were not being taken care of properly and needed to be saved. We were scared, very malnourished and very skittish. But after only a few days in foster care, I am gaining more and more confidence every day. I am a three month-old German Shepherd Dog.
I really REALLY enjoy the company of other dogs and would benefit from an already existing resident dog to teach me the ropes.
Everything is new to me, but I am a very quick learner. I am learning about house rules, what doggie doors are and what the difference is of what I am supposed to be doing outdoors versus indoors-
I am a super sweet, but also sassy pup with spitfire energy. I would love to be your lifetime baby, but also remember that I require a lot of attention and training not only throughout my puppy years, but guidance throughout my life to be the best canine good citizen I can be.
I am a wonderful and loving fur ball who will grow into very active, inquisitive and furry German Shepherd. I am smart and need LOTS and LOTS of training and socialization.
Please read up on the German Shepherd breed as I will be placed only in a home who is willing to do the research and understand the needs of a typical Shepherd and is willing to train, socialize, and keep us both mentally and physically active throughout our lives. Breed-experienced adopters are encouraged to apply.
The lucky family who adopt me will have a lifetime of fun, love and adventures.
Please submit an application with demonstrated understanding of the breed with research notes and a volunteer will get back to you. (BS)
