Medium (25 – 60 lbs) Learn MoreJethro is a cuddle-bug who just wants to love his human. He was a little nervous in his foster home at first. After just a few days, he got his confidence and started stretching forward for head scratches. He followed his foster mom everywhere; so that he could be easily within reach for a quick pet him every once in a while. Due to a slight birth defect that affects his foot, he doesn’t need to be walked for too long. That certainly doesn’t slow him down or stop him from being a very curious and playful dog!
He’s perfectly house broken. Travels great in the car. Runs enthusiastically to the car as soon as he hears the word “drive”. Once inside, he settles down and relaxes throughout the ride. He shared a home with a foster “sister”. On walks, he encountered cats, and showed minimal interest, so it’s possible he could co-exist with a feline in the house. He’s also uninterested in dogs he doesn’t know. (Be prepared, he will let you know when the mailman and mail truck arrive!)
Jethro is about 4-5 years old and weighs nearly 50 pounds.
We think he’s probably a mix of Basset/Bully but we’re certain he’s 100% adorable.
