Meet Kona!
Affectionately known as “Conan” around his foster’s house. This 4 month old border collie mix puppy is already 30 pounds.
Kona is very food/treat motivated, learns quickly and will no doubt be the star of his puppy classes. He is house trained (with just a very occasional accident here and there)
Kona is a very handsome dog, with all the puppy goofiness and energy you would expect, but he also has his quiet side. He loves to be around his people and is being fostered with children and another dog. He loves them all!
Kona loves to romp around with his 3 year-old foster brother. When his foster brother barks at the neighbor’s dog, Kona is happy just to see what’s going on, but never joins in the commotion.
Kona has recently recovered from Parvovirus, and can only be around fully vaccinated puppies and adult dogs (no puppies under 4 months). He is perfectly healthy now but will continue to shed the virus (in poop) for a few more weeks. It is advised he not go the a dog park until that time, for the protection of unvaccinated dogs.
