What could be better than a glass of Merlot at the end of your busy day? Kisses and cuddles from Merlot every day!
This 3-1/2-year-old Pittie mix will steal your heart with her endearing gaze and wiggly butt every time you glance her way. Merlot weighs in at about 45-50 lbs and does well on leash. She’s house and crate-trained. (Thanks, amazing fosters!). (We have not had the opportunity to cat test her.) But, again, as with most dogs, all she wants is to make you happy and she can surely learn what you need her to learn given some patience.
She seems to love every human she meets (though sometimes a little timid right at first), but she warms up very quickly. She needs to be the queen of the castle. (Ie; no other dogs in the household.)
As you can see from her photos, Merlot has taken to carrying a green toy around with her wherever she goes. Perhaps she’s part Irish? And, bonus, she loves to snuggle in the towels and blankets and just hang out whenever one of the sanctuary does laundry!
