Meet Peanut! He is a 6-year-old, 17 pound dachshund mix, shy guy looking for a loving home to help him brave the big world.
Peanut came to us extremely shy and scared, but he’s shown no aggression at all. He’s fine with being picked up, and he loves nestling up in a blanket. You may even get him to play peek-a-boo with you. Peanut is looking for a quiet home, and he would likely benefit from having a confident dog sibling to help teach him the ropes.
Update: Peanut is doing well in his foster home (three cheers for amazing fosters!) and his foster sibling. (See photo below.)
