This special 1 year-old boy is Sherman and he would love to meet you! And once you take a look at his giant goofy face… you’ll have a hard time saying no. He has a tiny little underbite, his eyes are slightly too far apart, his tail is short and crooked… he’s like the Dr. Seuss version of a pitbull. And just like you’d expect from a Seuss character, Sherman is the sweetest boy ever. He’s goofy and lovable. He can start off a bit reserved, but it doesn’t last long! Within a few minutes he’ll be bringing over his favorite toy and trying to sit in your lap. (He’s pushing the lap-dog thing at 60lbs, but we’ll allow it.)
Sherman is a medium-energy type of guy. He is thrilled to join you for a hike or a run, but afterwards he is content to snuggle on the couch or on his bed. He has also done very well with other dogs, and loves to play. His foster parents report that he is very well-behaved in the house.
Bully breed experience is a huge plus. We want Sherman to be a positive representative of his breed; we will opt for adopters who prioritize this mission and plan to continue his training.
Sherman is a very special boy, so please fill out an application and ask to get to know him! (AS)
