Tuttle is a 3 or 4 month-old mix breed puppy who currently weighs 29 lbs. Our best guess estimate is she will likely weigh about 70+ pounds (although we can never make guarantees).
Tuttle’s foster says she a total ball of energy. She is a super playful, confident puppy who is very smart and eager to please. Tuttle currently lives with another puppy and like most puppies, they enjoy alternating between playing, eating, and napping. Tuttle would do very well in a home with an older dog who can help show her the ropes, although she would do well as an only dog as well.
Tuttle is doing very well with potty training and has done well sleeping in her crate. She has also done well meeting all kinds of new people. While she loves kids, Tuttle is a strong, excitable puppy and might accidentally knock over smaller children, and she has some of that puppy mouthiness as well.
Tuttle has a great foundation to her training, but will need an adopter who is ready for all the work that comes with raising a smart, strong puppy. Please be home every 2 hours during this important developmental and bonding period. If you are up to the task, please fill out an adoption application and a volunteer will be in touch. (GS)
