Meet Webster! He’s a 3.5 year old male, boxer pitty mix. This sweetheart came to us as a puppy and was adopted out to a family, however it was not the right match. Webster is the sweetest and most loyal boy who loves his people more than anything—well maybe not as much as chasing squirrels. He is great with other dogs and has been having a blast wrestling with his foster sister (he’s got 20lbs on her but he still lets her win). He is house trained, crate trained, and knows his basic obedience. He’s even great when left alone in the house.
He may look tough, but he is pretty scared of small children and needs an adult only home. He can be a little nervous around new people and in new situations so he would benefit from a quieter home without too many guests—he would also love another dog to play with! He is very alert and will let you know if someone approaches the house—his foster family doesn’t have to set their alarm with this guy around!
Webster really just loves relaxing at home and snuggling with his family. He is so easy to live with and has the sweetest habit of dropping toys in your lap to play fetch. It’s really hard to say no to those sensitive brown eyes and that goofball frowny face! Webster is a protective dog.
Continued training is a must for Webster. Please email adopt@rocketdogrescue.org to find out more about him!
