Volunteer for Rocket Dog Rescue
As an all-volunteer organization, Rocket Dog Rescue is truly the definition of grassroots activism. We depend completely on caring members of the community to achieve our goal of saving animals at the speed of light.
YOUR involvement is the key to our ongoing success. You can help fulfill Rocket Dog Rescue’s mission of a truly no-kill community for homeless and abandoned dogs in the Bay Area. Check out our full list of volunteer opportunities here!
Please note: Volunteers at our sanctuary in Oakland must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have written permission from a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 16 are always welcome to help out at our adoption events!
If you have questions about volunteering, please email us at volunteer@rocketdogrescue.org
Neighborhood Adoption Events
We love working with members of our community to organize pop-up adoption events in local neighborhoods. You bring the connections, we bring the dogs!
