What is Rocket Dog Rescue?

Rocket Dog Rescue is a San Francisco Bay Area dog rescue organization run by a group of dedicated volunteers. We save dogs from death at over-crowded shelters and find them loving, happy homes. Because Rocket Dog Rescue does not have a shelter, we rely solely on our foster home network to provide a safe and stable temporary home to get them ready for adoption. It’s simple: the more people who open their homes for fostering, the more dogs we can save. It’s a rewarding way to give to our organization and it’s a critical part of what we do. PLEASE HELP Rock-Steady

“Rock-Steady” is a 10 week old baby pitbull that was saved against all odds. This wonderful boy is bursting with love and has a sweetness that almost breaks your heart.

Rock-Steady was born with a cleft palate. He was lucky to survive at  all -just to find himself at 6 weeks old left behind at a shelter with  no hope of rescue.

Rock-Steady is growing into a perfect little man. He has been learning great dog manners with the help of a team of specialists here
(my bloodhound and older ladypitbull) plus has had no shortage of people willing to give him love and socialization. He is a strong, healthy boy with a genuine and loving heart.

We are raising the funds to have surgery for Rock-Steady to repair the cleft palate so, please, donate if you are able. Any amount will  help.
