Bismark’s name is now Kayode, which means “he brings joy.” And he sure does! I am absolutely in love and I can’t wait to get home every day and see him. I don’t think he’s gotten much bigger, and I’m hoping he doesn’t grow much more since my apartment is not that big 🙂
He has tons of energy! We run every morning before work, and we’ve gone on some really long hikes, which he loves. And he’s hilarious, he cracks me up every day. We’ve been going to obedience classes at SPCA and he is so smart and learns everything almost immediately. Of course, being the rascal that he is, he then chooses when to do what I’ve asked and when to ignore me and pretend he can’t hear me. But that takes time I suppose.
I am constantly singing the praises of the Rocket Dog volunteers, truly a fantastic group of people with huge hearts. Thank you so much for all your help, and for bringing him into my life. I call him my angel man, since I think he really rescued me and not the other way around.
All the best,
